NOVEMBER, 2006

Yes, the elections are now history (except in Denver where the counting of the vote continues and may never end) and among some there is angst and among others there is happiness.  You might wonder how I feel about all this?  I am sad that estate tax reform appears to be over and I am glad that there will so much work for our firm that we will never (apparently) have to worry again.  That this is sad for our clients appears not to be an issue for those who ran or voted in the election.

This is my first entry on Bernie's page.  As mentioned on the Newsletter page, these comments are my personal comments and do not reflect the opinions of our law firm and any of its members.  Let me know if these thoughts provoke any thoughts for  you whether you agree with me or not, I appreciate your feedback.  If you have spoken with me lately, you know that I share your frustration over the current political impasse over death taxes.
